New projects for 2026–2029

On 21 August 2026 the Slovak Research and Development Agency (APVV) published its funding decisions on new projects. Two projects in which I take part as co-investigator for FSEV TnUAD were approved. Since the beginning of 2026 I have also been leading a new VEGA project. All three projects run until 2029.

VEGA 1/0316/26: Workplace of the Future: Leveraging Job Crafting and GPT to Foster Sustainable Organizations in the Digital Age (principal investigator). The project examines how general-purpose technologies (GPT) change employees' opportunities to reshape their work. It aims to develop a model of job crafting supported by these technologies that fosters the sustainable growth of organisations without increasing employees' stress and workload. It builds on the SMART Work Design model (Parker & Knight, 2024). More about the project

APVV-25-0581: Neuroscientific and Behavioural Approaches and Determinants of (Business) Managerial (Strategic) Decision-Making under the Conditions of Digital Transformation of the Economy and Organisations within Innovation Ecosystems (co-investigator for FSEV TnUAD; coordinated by the Faculty of Management and Business, University of Prešov). Experimental research on managerial decision-making in digital environments: how digital interfaces, risk, uncertainty and AI-supported information affect the quality and riskiness of decisions. It uses eye-tracking and indicators of emotional stress. More about the project

APVV-25-0734: Barrier-free mobility: Slovakia as part of the European solution for inclusive transport (co-investigator for FSEV TnUAD; coordinated by the Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications, University of Žilina). The project looks for ways to remove barriers in passenger air transport for people with disabilities and reduced mobility. It will deliver a methodology for assessing the accessibility of airports and airlines and a set of measures. More about the project

An overview of all projects is in the Research section.
